The Department of Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi, is responsible for handling complaints pertaining to commercial issues (https://commerce.gov.in/InnerContent.aspx?Id=14).

The purview of this portal does not include complaints or inquiries about passports and visas, emergency travel documents, or attestation of documents.

You can check the status of your complaint using the MADAD mobile app or the Madad Portal at www.madad.gov.in.

  • Register yourself under “Grievant Registration (For Grievance)” and “New Student Registration (For Student)” to obtain your login ID if you are not an existing user:
  • Both “New Student Registration (For Student)” and “Grievant Registration (For Grievance)” should be clicked.Enter your information to obtain a login ID.
  • Monitoring the status of complaints with the MADAD mobile app:
  • Navigate to the Track Grievances screen by going to the Home page of the MADAD mobile application.
  • Click Submit after entering your Grievance ID and Captcha (Security Code).

  • Register on the Portal: Click on the option for “Registration of Indian Students Abroad.” Fill in your details, including your name, date of birth, email address, and other required information. Complete the sign-up process.
  • Log In:Use your newly created ID and password to log in to the portal.
  • Complete Your Profile: Select the Manage Profile option to provide additional personal details. To add your course and institute details, click on Manage Course Details.
  • Report Complaints: Once the registration process is complete, students and other users can lodge their complaints through the portal. The authorities will review the grievances and take action to resolve them as stated on the website.
