  • Leprosy-Cured: A leprosy-cured person is someone who has been cured of leprosy but still experiences sensory loss in their hands, feet, eyes, or eyelids, and may have visible deformities and paresis. However, they are still able to engage in normal economic activities despite these challenges.
  • Mental Illness: This refers to all mental conditions other than mental retardation.
  • Cerebral Palsy: This term describes a group of non-progressive disorders that cause abnormal motor control and posture due to brain injury acquired during pregnancy, the perinatal period, or early infancy.
  • Hearing Impairment: Hearing impairment refers to a loss of 60 dB or more in the better ear within the conversational frequency range.
