1st Phase of KITE’s Online learning (KOOL) Platform

The first phase of KITE’s Online Learning (KOOL) platform has been launched with a comprehensive training program aimed at enhancing the digital skills of teachers. In this initial class, 2,500 teachers will participate, with one mentor assigned to every 20 enrolled teachers. The 6-week curriculum designed by KITE covers a range of essential digital skills, including word processing, spreadsheet management, presentation creation, image editing, video and audio editing, building digital resources, Malayalam typing, internet navigation, and the use of educational apps.

Upon successfully completing the training, participants will receive certificates recognizing their achievements.

KITE has proposed to the state government that the KOOL certification should be recognized for declaring teachers’ probation periods, and this proposal has been approved. KOOL is now the state's largest and most inclusive training initiative. Additionally, KITE plans to further expand the number of courses available through the KOOL online platform, making them accessible not only to educators but also to students and the general public.
