The Rajasthan government is set to launch its Young Interns Program (YIP) in 2025, targeting 150 talented youth who will contribute to the state’s schemes while enhancing their research and evaluation skills, a senior official announced.

The selection process, which includes interviews and group discussions, is already underway for this full-time internship initiative.

To be eligible, candidates must be aged 21 to 30 years as of January 1, 2025. They should possess a postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹30,000 along with an additional ₹2,500 per month for laptop connectivity and mobility expenses.

“The YIP is designed to empower skilled and ambitious youth by providing them with hands-on experience in implementing and monitoring the government’s projects, programs, and schemes,” the official stated.

The program also aims to foster a deeper interest among young professionals in the state’s public service delivery system. Another key objective is to gain independent and critical analysis of government initiatives, enhance their outreach and effectiveness, and incorporate suggestions for necessary improvements.
