Important Dates

The scheme was launched on 17 July 2017.  On the following dates given below different procedures related to the scheme will be undertaken by the authorities:-

• The first round of tablets has distributed- on 14th July 2017 by 4 pm.
• The second round of tablets has been distributed- on 17th July by 4 pm.
• The last round of tablets has distributed- on 20th July 2017 by 4 pm.

Eligibility Criteria

To avail of the benefits of the scheme you have to follow the following eligibility criteria mentioned below:-

• First, the annual income of the applicant’s household must not exceed Rupees 1 lakh.
• The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat state.
• The students must belong to below the poverty line category.
• The students must have completed 12th in this financial year and must have been admitted to the first year of graduation course in any college.

The following documents are required while applying for the Namo tablet scheme:-

• Domicile certificate
• Address Proof
• Voter ID card
• Aadhar card
• 12th passing certificate
• Certificate to confirm the Admission in the under-graduation course or Polytechnic course
• Below the poverty line certificate

Procedure to Register For Namo Tablet Yojana

Here’s the procedure to register for the Namo Tablet Yojana:

• Visit Your College: Go to your respective college to enroll in the Namo Tablet Scheme.
• Institution Details: The institution will upload the details of eligible candidates on the official website.
• Login: The authorities at the institution will log in to the portal using their unique institute ID.
• Add New Student: The institution will select the 'Add New Student' tab.
• Enter Student Details: The institution will enter your details such as name, category, course, etc.
• Board and Seat Number: Your board and seat number will be entered.
• Payment: You will deposit Rs. 1000 to the head of the institution.
• Receipt Generation: The head of the institution will generate a receipt for the payment.
• Enter Receipt Details: The receipt number and date will be entered on the website.
• Tablet Distribution: Finally, the tablet will be provided to you.
