Step 1: The details of the student will be submitted by the School Headmaster or Inter College Principal using a specific proforma. This will include the student's name, age, parent's name, caste (General, SC, ST, BCs, Minority), and information regarding Disabled Children. This proforma will serve as the sole source of data.

Step 2: The submitted details will be cross-validated using a 6-Step Check, along with data from Childinfo/UDISE and other relevant information from Civil Supplies and other departments. The immediate inspecting officer of the institution must certify these details for payment.

Step 3: A Provisional List of Eligible Candidates will be displayed at the village or ward secretariat for Social Audit. From this audit, a list of Ineligible Candidates will be compiled along with the reasons for ineligibility. Communication regarding any rejections will be sent to the affected candidates.

Step 4: The final list of Eligible Candidates will be prepared by the Welfare Education Assistant or Ward Education & Data Processing Secretary. This list will be approved by the District Collector. The e-KYC of the mother will be conducted through biometric verification by Volunteers, Welfare Education Assistants, or Ward Education & Data Processing Secretaries.

Step 5: Subsequently, the concerned District Educational Officers, District Vocational Educational Officers, or Regional Educational Officers for Intermediate Education will release financial assistance directly to the beneficiaries' savings bank accounts online.

Step 6: The Volunteers, Welfare Education Assistants, or Ward Education & Data Processing Secretaries will obtain acknowledgment from the mothers regarding the receipt of the payment through biometric authentication.
